This album was themed as a fictional horror soundtrack. A collection for film or incidental music; possibly for use in ghost or paranormal dramatisations or documentaries.

Yes. Another concept album !

Over the last few years I have been more interested in the paranormal. From classic movies, to those terribly addictive ghost hunting programmes, ghost stories, in particular MR James and Arthur Conan Doyle, folk horror, hauntology and as ever the history of the 16th and 17th Century and folklore.

So this collection of instumental pieces that have a variety of themes and would sit nicely in a soundtrack of some kind. Influenced by Goblin, John Carpenter, library music, found sounds, Ghost Box, Broadcast, Hainbach, Meitei, Coil, Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, Magnet amongst others.

Using a variety of synths, kalimba, guitar, Ableton Live, the Koma Field Kit, found sounds and piano the music took shape during the summer of 2022. I am very proud of this aural landscape. Sit back, turn off the lights, light some candles and enjoy.
